Lady and the Tramp

This piece summarises the my 'Vices' gallery. Let me recap unless you’ve missed it;
This gallery is called ‘Vices - A journey through coping mechanisms, realisations, and the quest to understand 'purpose.'
I’m not great with words and tend to bottle things up. Art however, allows me to put my feelings to paper - the trials and tribulations of 32 years on this earth. A diary of sorts that I can explain, don’t have to explain and sometimes don’t know why I’ve done something - it’s oddly freeing.
In this particular art piece you can see what I call windows. You’ll notice these windows through the majority of my works, as they act as insight into my imagination / what I’m thinking about. They also act as a metaphor - letting light into shine on aspects of my life but also as I look back out through these windows out at the world it can often feel overwhelming and seem as if the grass is greener on the other side - that’s not always true. Think about Instagram, the platform is purely set up for people to flex and make us feel like there are parts of us missing or we aren't good enough. Instead be thankful for what and who we do have.
This gallery is also a chance for people to connect with my journey, a local boy from the south. I’m hoping you love these stories and you’re able to accompany me on that journey. I’d like to think I'm taking the Tom Scott (of the iconic Homebrew) approach - He’s real, and his stories relatable. People connect with him because of his authenticity.
